How do I return an item?

Refunds and cancellation of orders are at the owner's discretion.

 
Please be aware that a 5% fee will be imposed on cancelled orders which have not been shipped prior to cancellation.
This fee covers the charges incurred to process your refund.
So please check the delivery schedule carefully and if still unsure contact our customer care service for more information.
Alternatively you can be issued with a credit for the full amount to be used at a later date.
 
Cancellation of orders containing personalised or customised products will not be refunded unless Gift Basket Boutique is advised before the product is personalised or customised, then the above terms apply.
A partial refund might be issued on already personalised or customised products, this will be assessed based on a case by case situation.
 
If your order has been dispatched but not delivered, a refund will be issued less 2 delivery charges as most courier companies will charge a return fee.
Orders for which shipping was "Free" will have a $20 fee deducted.
 
Gift Basket Boutique does not accept responsibility for the gift once it has left our premises; However even though we take special care in packaging our gifts to ensure they arrive safely and in pristine condition, occasionally, breakage or damage do occur.
If a gift arrives excessively damaged or a product is faulty; Gift Basket Boutique will assess the situation for replacement based on a case by case situation. We will require photos so that we can better understand the extent of the damage or issues with the product.
 
If your order has been processed twice through a technology glitch, or from multiple submissions; We will refund the duplicate order/orders immediately.
 
As per our delivery terms, any delays causing your gift to, not being delivered on schedule, does not constitute a failure of our agreement to deliver it and therefore does not entitle the cancellation of the order, neither does it entitle you to a refund.
 
Should you wish to return a product, please call or email first.
Returns will be approved at our discretion and all postage costs are to be incurred by the customer.
Upon agreement from Gift Basket Boutique, the product must be returned in its original condition and packaging, with all accessories and contents.
We recommend that you return the product via Australia Post or through an insured courier service.
You assume any risk of loss, theft or damaged goods during transit.
Gift Basket Boutique reserves the right to refuse to accept, and to return parcels that arrive COD or have More To Pay stamped on them.
Please note that the initial delivery fee is non-refundable.
